We collect information you provide directly to us when creating an account (such as your email address for authentication). As you use eGantt, we also store the project data, tasks, and timelines you create to provide the core service.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your data primarily to provide, maintain, and improve the eGantt service. This includes authenticating your access, saving your projects, and analyzing aggregate usage (with your consent) to optimize our platform.
3. Data Sharing and Infrastructure
We do not sell your personal data. Your data is stored securely on our infrastructure partners (e.g., Neon Database for storage, Vercel for hosting).
4. International Transfers
Our servers and service providers may be located outside of the European Economic Area (EEA). Whenever we transfer your personal information outside of the EEA, we ensure a similar degree of protection is afforded to it by utilizing Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other legally accepted transfer mechanisms.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide the eGantt service. If you choose to delete your account, your active data is removed immediately. Residual copies may remain in secure, encrypted backups for up to 30 days before being permanently deleted.
6. Children's Privacy
eGantt is a professional tool not intended for use by individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Your User Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, update, or delete your personal information at any time. If you wish to completely erase your account, request a data export, or contact the Data Controller regarding privacy matters, please email us at info@egantt.com.
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of the eGantt web application. By creating an account and using eGantt, you agree to these terms.
1. License to Use
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the eGantt web application for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to your compliance with these Terms.
2. Account and Usage
You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to access eGantt. You must not use our service for any illegal, harmful, or unauthorized purpose.
3. User Content
You retain all rights and ownership to the project data and content you create within eGantt. By using our service, you grant us the necessary licenses to host, store, and display your data purely to provide the service to you.
4. Payments and Subscriptions (If Applicable)
If you elect to use paid features of eGantt, you agree to the pricing and payment terms presented at the time of purchase. Subscriptions will auto-renew unless cancelled prior to the end of the current billing cycle.
5. Service Availability and Modifications
We strive to keep eGantt available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service with or without notice.
6. Limitation of Liability and Warranties
The eGantt service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind. In no event shall eGantt or its operators be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of data or profits) arising out of your use or inability to use the service.
Security
At eGantt, the security of your project data is our top priority. We implement industry-standard practices to protect your information at every layer of our infrastructure.
1. Data in Transit and at Rest
All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted using modern TLS/SSL protocols. Furthermore, your data is encrypted at rest within our database infrastructure to prevent unauthorized physical access.
2. Infrastructure Database Security
Our primary database is hosted on Neon, an enterprise-grade Serverless Postgres platform. Neon provides built-in isolation, continuous backups, and high availability, ensuring your Gantt charts and project timelines are safe and resilient against data loss.
3. Authentication and Access
We handle authentication securely, utilizing short-lived session tokens and secure cookies. We do not store plain-text passwords. Access to production environments is strictly limited to authorized personnel using multi-factor authentication (MFA).
